New in: Shopping in Toulouse

Wanted to show you some of the treasures I brought back with me from Toulouse. Apparently they have a COS store there... you can see how that ended! Hahah, I just love that brand and their spring/summer collection is really good this year. My credit card limited me to buying two sweaters though (got to think about paying the rent as well..) but could just as well bought the whole store. The dress is amazing - just wait and see. I've been drooling over these oxfords for a while, but when I was about to buy them online they were sold out. I got lucky finding these in my size on sale at Stradivarius. And last but not least, I stopped buy the Jimmy Fairly store in Toulouse where I had fun trying on all their cool shades and got amazing help by the seller. I've been looking for a pair of minimalistic black sunglasses for a loooong time, and these are just perfect ! Classy, but with an edge. You can see me wearing them here. Bjørg is my all-time favorite jewelry designer. I love her work! You can imagine I was happy when my brothers offered me the Anatomic Heart necklace for Christmas? I've been wanting this one for a long time, and I think it makes it even more special that my brothers gave it to me. A nice addition to my modest jewelry collection and probably what's gonna be "the most worn piece" of 2015.

I want to use the occation to commemorate the victims of the terror attack in Paris and to send out warm thoughts to family and friends. #JesuisCharlie

These photos were taken just before I left Lyon ( yep, it's slightly colder in Bodø at the moment). I bought myself some early christmas gifts as I considered I "needed" a new pair of flats and a big everyday bag that can hold all my school books. Well, I actually needed the bag , the leopard printed fur slip ons.... not that much. I've been looking for a pair like this for a while but I just haven't got around to buy a pair before now as I'm trying to stick to my budget, but when I found these at the kids section at Zara for 35€ I just couldn't leave them! They have the exact finish I was looking for and cost a third of all the other pairs I've been looking at up until now. Having tiny feet has its advantages!

The last conspiracy - Chelsea boot

So far, two things have happened this weekend: I picked up these beauties at the post office and I spent my entier Saturday at an education fair/going through all the brochures I came home with. There's not much time left now before I have to start sending in applications! Well, that's why I didn't post this post yesterday.  And the reason why there haven't been a lot post lately is because.. well, you know; I'm working my ass off. BUT due to a serie of lucky events, all my classes are canceled tomorrow and Tuesday is a public holiday in France so I've a well deserved extended weekend. Tomorrow I'm going to Dantesk with some friends. Really looking forward to it!

Anyway, I've been looking for the perfect pair of chelsea boots a long time. When I found these at the last conspiracy on sale for only 80€ I was quick to click them home. The sole on my pair is much darker than the ones pictured at their web-page, but as all their shoes are handcrafted there might be slight variations within a model. Personally I think that's the charm though! If you love them as much as I do, you can  buy them here.

Store opening

Friday I went with a friend to the opening of the clothing store Only at City Nord shopping centre. I have to say I was happily surprised when I saw their fall collection! I never thought I would come home with this pile of clothes, but after trying them on I just couldn't help myself. Even in France it gets cold in the winter, and this is perfect essentials for the upcoming autumn (and a 50% VIP discount on the whole store made it quite easy to make up my mind.)

Package delivery

Feels like I've been waiting an eternity for this package to arrive. As the heels were sold out on Nelly's french site, I ordered them on the norwegian one and got my cousin to bring my order with her. I couldn't not order them. Their just way too pretty. The jersey dress is perfect for a fast, stylish everyday-outfit, and as the weather has been great lately, a pair of extra sunglasses might come in handy. Today I finally have a day off, so now I'm taking my cousin into town to show her the best of what Lyon has to offer. Talk to you later!

Enjoying the beautiful weather while walking around town with some friends. I love being able to go out without layering a bunch of jackets and sweaters in order to feel warm. The temperature is perfect for small jackets and blazers. I've been looking forward to using this one alone without something over it for a long time now. And well, I couldn't go anywhere without my new baby. Oh, is it possible to fall in love with a bag ? ..What kind of question is that?  Of course it is.

Finally. I promise that I'm trying to update the blog as often as possible! It's not that easy though when I'm at school until 16-18.00 every day, have huge amounts of homework and are dancing seven hours per week, but I'm doing the best I can. 

Today I had some extra free between my classes, so I went with some friends to take a coffee and took advantage of the situation by asking Amira to take some photos for me agian (Thank you!). I wore the silk blouse I bought at Maché de la Mode Vintage last weekend and my new Aldo shoes. Love the pale blue color - perfect with rose gold! And the boots.. I'm still not over the fact that they're mine.

Sneakpeak: Open back and new jeans

Sneakpeak on tomorrows post where I'm trying out one of my new Levis jeans. I think this one might be my new favorite. The open back sweater is a T by Alexander Wang i bought last year. Still as perfect as the day I first saw it in store.

Mlle, your package has arrived.

I was so glad when this little thing was waiting for me when I came home after my morning classes today. I'm sorry I'm a bit late with this post, but I wasn't able to finish it before I had to run for my dance classes. Anyway, this is what I bought: a simple black pleat skirt and a watch in rose gold  (plus a pair of pants which I'll return because the fit wasn't right). I simply love the clock. Even though I prefer this one, the one I got is a great replacement if you'd rather pay 24€ than 190€, and the skirt is exactly what I've been searching for. You'll probably see me wearing this in a post very soon.

I'm not a big fan of online shopping - simply because I prefer to try things on first - but it all went well. I'm happy with what I got, Siri seems to be happy with what she got, we got our new clothes within three days and we didn't have to pay for delivery or taxes. Might be that we'll do this again later.

EXPOSURE IV W

When my favorite sneakers fell apart - for the third time... after trying to force the sole back in place with an unknown amount of super glue - I had to face the fact: my shoes were worn out.

I've been searching for a similar pair for a long time, but nothing seemed good enough to replace my old ones - until some days ago when I was strolling through the shoe section at Printemps. Who else would be able to compete with my old Diesel sneakers than, exactly, Diesel. I don't know why I haven't seen these ones before now... They're even cooler than my old pair. I'm so happy I don't really know how to express myself. So finally I've have something to wear again when I know I'm going to walk for a while. Perfect for shopping, lazy days in the park and those times you know you have to run to the subway to reach whatever you're late to in time. New favorites? I think so.

Sneakers EXPOSURE IV W - Diesel

New shoes

As I told you yesterday, I used saturday afternoon in town with a good friend of mine. After eating an enormous ice-cream, we took some pictures. Remember mondays post when I talked about a pair of shoes I'd just bought? Here they are! Told you that they're amazing. A little bit unpractical maybe, but hey, a tiny girl like me need some extra centimeters. 

Luckily the temperature has starten to rise again after about two weeks with grey weather. A great opportunity for using my summerclothes who have been stocked away during my vacation in Norway. Exept for my new shoes, I'm wearing shorts from Samsøe Samsøe and a singlet from Zara borrowed from my friend (who took my photos, but didn't let me post any of her..). 

Anyway, what do you think about my shoes ?
