"You that are so interested in fashion and that kind of stuff, you wouldn't know how to rip up jeans?" A friend asked me this weekend. This led to a Sunday afternoon spent with Amira using scissors on one of her old pair of jeans. We got quite satisfied with the result so we decided to show them to you. What do you think ?

I'd totally forgotten about these photos! They were taken in the end of January so it was about time I got them up on the blog. But better late than never, right? They got me thinking that I should use my lace blouse more often. Weird how we forget about our old clothes as our closet is filling up with new ones.. Should probably take some time to look through what I have. Tonight I'm going to the theatre and afterwards I have to make a quick stop at my place before going to a friend of mine who's hosting a dinner. I should probably get ready, so I'll talk to you later!

Enjoying the beautiful weather while walking around town with some friends. I love being able to go out without layering a bunch of jackets and sweaters in order to feel warm. The temperature is perfect for small jackets and blazers. I've been looking forward to using this one alone without something over it for a long time now. And well, I couldn't go anywhere without my new baby. Oh, is it possible to fall in love with a bag ? ..What kind of question is that?  Of course it is.

Coffee break

This week has been ridiculously busy.. I've had a lot of tests at school, which means that I've been studying non-stop (with exeption of my dance classes of course!). Yesterday I had a mock exam in French. Happy about being finished, I went into the centre of Lyon with some friends to take a well deserved coffee break. 

As you can see I got the hang on PS Elements after a while. As I had some time to spare I desided to try something new. What do you think? Do you like the photo set-up or do you prefer how I've been doing it in my old posts? Well, now I'm heading over to meet some friends of mine for a glass of wine. Talk to you later!

Happy New Year

Today is the beginning of a new year, the first of many days to come. When I look back at last year I have a lot to be thankful for. It's been a year filled with new experiences, friendships and wisdom. I'm thinking about posting a photo recap of my 2013 - If you'd like one.

I thought about posting this yesterday, but as no one actually's using the computer on New Years Eve I found out it was better to wait untill today and enjoy the evening instead. As I'm going back to France tomorrow morning I'm trying to take advantage of the little time I got left with my family. When ( or if ) I'm able to close my suitcase, I'll be off watching a movie with my brothers and then I'll go out to take photos of the northern light with my father. I have some behind-the-scenes pictures from this shoot to show you as well.

Finally. I promise that I'm trying to update the blog as often as possible! It's not that easy though when I'm at school until 16-18.00 every day, have huge amounts of homework and are dancing seven hours per week, but I'm doing the best I can. 

Today I had some extra free between my classes, so I went with some friends to take a coffee and took advantage of the situation by asking Amira to take some photos for me agian (Thank you!). I wore the silk blouse I bought at Maché de la Mode Vintage last weekend and my new Aldo shoes. Love the pale blue color - perfect with rose gold! And the boots.. I'm still not over the fact that they're mine.

Sneakpeak: Open back and new jeans

Sneakpeak on tomorrows post where I'm trying out one of my new Levis jeans. I think this one might be my new favorite. The open back sweater is a T by Alexander Wang i bought last year. Still as perfect as the day I first saw it in store.

Back to basics

So yesterday was one of those Sundays. You know, the type of Sunday when you'd rather stay in bed all day reading magazines and drinking tea. Luckily - no matter how pyjama-ish my day feels like - there's always something I can wear thanks to my little jeans and shirt collection. This beautiful Armani-shirt was hidden in my dads old closet. I'm so happy I found it! It's by far one of my favorites.

So when I found out that I needed to get some air, I called up a friend, put this on and were ready to go. Not a single piece of jewlery. (Yeah, weird huh? I felt a bit naked..). But then again, when you have orange shoes, who needs accessories ?

Anyway I had a nice relaxing weekend, and I hope you had the same. Pumped for another week?

Where's Yves?

I went out shopping with Henriette a couple of days ago. After a lot of work both at the appartment and at school we decided to give ourselves a little treat. I've been drooling over a spesific pair of shoes since I saw them online in July and I just couldn't leave them after I'd tried them on. I'll post some pictures of them later!

I'm wearing my new favorite sweater (which I bought at Bik Bok just before I came down to Lyon), old ripped-up jeans, a big shopping bag from Eternel and a pair of flat shoes I found at "Marché de la mode vintage" last spring. The ear cuff is from Gina Tricot, came in pair and was supposed to sit at the bottom of the ear. I modified it. Acctually I've been dreaming about this one, but the price is a bit too stiff for a student budget.. I'm quite satisfied with the one I ended up with though.
