Fête des Lumières 2014

As I might already have mentioned, last weekend was the annual light festival "Fête des Lumières" held in Lyon and I wanted to shear some photos with you from this year as well. It was freezing outside, but it was absolutely worth going! I really liked this years light installations, in particular the light show at Place des Terreaux and at the opera. Mays and I decided to take a trip with the parisian wheel at Bellecour as it's possible that this is our last year living in Lyon, which gave us the sickest view over the city!

NELLY Pop up Club

Some snapshots from Nellys "Pop up Club"-event this weekend. Had so much fun with Henriette! How could you spend a better Saturday evening than in a club getting free drinks and popcorn while listening to girly pop music and checking out clothes and accessories with your bestie ? A good break from spending ridiculuosly much time at school work. Once again, I'm sorry for the lack of blogging! I've got some great photos to show you from my last shoot with Guillaume. They'll be up on the blog in a couple of days, as well as a post with some good Christmas gift tips.

Hi everyone! I hope you've enjoyed your weekend. I'm so sorry for the lack of posts. There is just so much to do in such little time! I decided not to make a "favorite things" post this sunday, as I noticed that I haven't been able to write anything since I posted one last sunday.. So here you have some photos from yesterday when I was out with Henriette enjoying the summer temperatures and checking out cafés. I've been looking forward to wearing this dress for a while now, but as I've been home with the flu I couldn't take the risk of getting sick again by wearing too little clothes outside. And let's face it; this dress is so much more fun when worn without jacket! I've already started to prepare some new posts for you, so I can promise that next week is going to be a better blogging week than this one.

As I've been home with the flu today, I got the time to finish up this post for you. Theese photos were taken with Amira during the winter holidays when we walked up to Fourvière to enjoy the amazing 25C and the sun outside. We soon found out that there was no ice cream bar to be found at the top, so we went down to the Old Lyon district right after where there's always more than plenty to choose from. But we did get some trim, nice photos and a beautiful view.

I'd totally forgotten about these photos! They were taken in the end of January so it was about time I got them up on the blog. But better late than never, right? They got me thinking that I should use my lace blouse more often. Weird how we forget about our old clothes as our closet is filling up with new ones.. Should probably take some time to look through what I have. Tonight I'm going to the theatre and afterwards I have to make a quick stop at my place before going to a friend of mine who's hosting a dinner. I should probably get ready, so I'll talk to you later!

Weekend visit

So why have I been so absent lately? Right after Vilde Amalie left, my mom and my aunt came to visit me here in Lyon and just days after I went with the norwegian girls to the Alps. I simply didn't have the time to blog in between everything. But now I'm back! Came home yesterday and started to go through all my photos this morning. I have plenty of posts waiting for you.

Here you see some photos from when my mom and aunt came to France on a weekend visit. I had so much fun showing them around in what's been my town for one and a half year now. We've been walking around the city, eating croissants and baguettes, visiting the old town, shopping, dining out and strolling in the park. It was no surprise that my mom wanted to help out her little girl while staying here; now I've got new curtains, pillows for my couch, fresh flowers, a cleaned out appartment and a filled fridge. I can live with that, haha. And did I mention she's made the pillows for me herself? Quite impressive right? Thank you mom!

We've had a lot of fun together. I hope to see them both back in Lyon soon!

Fête des Lumières 2013

Here are the photos I took last weekend at Fête des Lumières. It was.. crowded - as last year  - but the light decorations were incredible! I'm not really able to decide whether last year or this year were the better. It depends a bit on what you compare. As you might see, I don't have so many photos this year.. I was planning on taking photos Sunday and Monday evening, but as I got ill I had to stay indoors. It's a bit sad I didn't have the opportunity to see Place des Terreaux and Parc de la Tête d'Or which was something I was looking forward to, but I'll just have to save that until next year.
