Hello May
I did this post yesterday but I forgot to post it.. Anyway, it's May ! The summer is soon to come and I find myself longing for pastels, lace, salty hair, days by the beach, long brunches and fruity cocktails.

Ophelie Guillermand by Ashley Soong

Found this fashion editorial while searching some early Monday inspiration and wanted to share it with you! Love the minimalistic style of the photographer, and as a plus; the spaghetti strapped dress is super sexy, and the ring-game on the tenth picture is on point! I kind of love the eye cover as well.
School starts up again today. How did the vacation pass so fast ? Already counting down to the next one, haha. In April I'm going to Corsica with the girls. Oh, how I'm looking forward to that!

Inspo: Stacking Bracelets
Source: Pinterest, Instagram
I love combining jewelry: rings, necklaces, bracelets... everything stackable. Only thing is that buying enough jewlery to cover your stacking urge might be quite expensive. That's why I decided to make a bunch of bracelets myself. It's easy, economical and fun! I'll post some photos of my DIY project later today when I get back from scool, up until I'll let in on some eyecandy inspiration. What could be a better way to start a grey morning on than wearing loads of silver and gold?

Video: Trevor Undi for Chanel
Chanel is for me the definition of high class and luxury. The design is impeccable - preserving the Chanel tradition while being innovative and meeting todays demand - and the handcraft is perfection. I'm probably not the only one having the Boy bag and a tailored tweed jacket signed by the designer house at the very top of my wishlist. Though it might take some time before I arrive at the point where my savings can finance such a purchase, I can still fantasise about it as much as I like. I'm following a very talented filmmaker named Trevor Undi at Vimeo who posted this video last week. I love it, the video is extremely well made - and I love Chanel. It's a good combination. I figured there's probably many of you who would enjoy the video as well, so I decided to share it with you. Get ready to get lost in the Chanel universe.

Morning inspiration
Nothing's like having the morning off. Today I'm taking the late shift at work, so this morning is spent browsing through inspiring photos and watching Sex and the City while drinking a lot of tea. I can't believe how fast the summer has passed! I'll be going back to France in only one and a half week. I've really enjoyed spending the summer in Bodø with friends and family, but I'm excited to go back as well. I won't be spending many mornings on my couch after school starts up though, so I'm trying to enjoy it as much as I possibly can while I'm here.

High impact mascara (Black) , Chubby stick (04 heftiest hibiscus) and Stay-matte sheer pressed powder (101 invisible matte) - Clinique / Magic concealer - Helena Rubinstein
Some refill for my make-up bag and a bit inspiration came home with me from Munchen. The powder from Clinique and the concealer from Helena Rubinsein are my personal essentials when it comes to facial make-up. They work magic. As long as I have these two products (and a good moisturizer) I don't need anything else for my skins moring ritual.
After my bestfriend strongly recommended the Chubby stick I decided to give it a try - and I love it. It has great hold and the color is amazing. I'll show you how it looks on later.
The mascara is a sample from Clininque. I'm a bit skeptical to it as I doubt it can be any better than the mascara I usually use (YSL - Shocking lashes), but I'll give it a try. I'll let you know what I think when I've tried it on.
Fashionary womens edition - Fashionary / The complete fashion sketchbook - Martin Dawber
After killing some time at the Taxfree I went to CEDON wich is an amazing little shop with lots of design books and cool decoration objects. I just had to have these two. Fashionary is a sketchbook with semi-transparent templates of figures on each page, and The complete fashion sketchbook is an inspirational book with creative ideas on how to make the most out of a fashion sketchbook. So yeah, I've planned to improve my drawing skills.
I really like to read fashion blogs and I use alot of time searching for inspiration online, but there is something about having a real book between your hands. Don't you think? The complete fashion sketchbook will fit perfectly in to my little collection. Please let me know if you have some good ideas on other fashion/design/photography books I might like to read!
