Introducing MISSNEWZUCCI.COM
Hi everyone, I've got BIG news for you! I've decided to really invest in my blog and I'm super exited to let you know that the 25th October MISSNEWZUCCI.COM will be up and running!
I wanted to take my blog even further and change it up a little. I will continue posting outfits and updates on what's happening in my life, but I'll spend much more time making guides and DIYs for you. It will be a personal style and design blog for students, meaning it will be all about giving tips that you, my fellow students and fashionistas, can use in your daily life. You can look forward to guides on how to be stylish while studing (despite the great struggle of the student budget), I'll let you in on my personal experiences from my years abroad AND SO MUCH MORE.
Does this sound good to you ? Well what if I told you that to celebrate my relaunch and the new website I'm throwing an INTERNATIONAL GIVEAWAY. The price is amazing - I'm so jealous of the one who wins this and I can't wait to show you what it is! The giveaway will soon be up on www.missnewzucci.com and to make sure you don't miss out on this amazing opportunity you can subscribe to my newsletter by clicking on the button below and get redirected directly to my new blog!
Hope I'll see you there

Parken festivalen 2015
Every year the Parken Festival is arranged in Rensåsparken in Bodø. I've actually never been there before because the tickets always get sold out before christmas before even the artists are released and I never get to buying one before they're all gone.. This year I got lucky though and bought a ticket from someone at my moms work. I'm so happy I got to go! I've spent the whole weekend listening to music and having fun with my friends. I was lucky to have both my best friend and my cousin in town for the event. Couldn't possibly be better! The weather was great (I mean really unbelievable-to-be-Northern-Norway-great) and the music even better. Amongst other we got the chance to see Band of Horses, Röyksopp, Aurora, Emilie Nicolas and Susanne Sundfør on stage. They killed it. I can't imagine a more beautiful place to hold a festival.

New school, new country and another language
Since the summer started I've been traveling in France with my family (photos coming up!) and moved out of my apartment in Lyon. After coming back home to Norway I've mostly spent my time seeing friends and working at the tourist information. I don't have too many days off, but when I do I go to our familys summerhouse. It feels so good to finally have the time to read a book I actually want to read! At the moment I'm saving up money for next year. Guess what, I'M MOVING TO ITALY. I've been accepted at IED Milano where I'll take their bachelor program in Product Design. The classes and seminars will be held in english, while I'll have italian classes included in the program. After learning french it shouldn't be too hard to learn italian right ?
Anyways I'm really looking forward to studying something that interests me. I decided I wanted to become a product designer several years back in time and it feels so good to finally take my first step in that direction. I can't even describe how exited I am! I've already found an appartement and I bought my plane ticket several weeks ago. I'll leave in the end of September and the days can't possibly pass by any slower.. I'm really super exited about this and not to mention proud over getting in. Definitly worth all the hard work I've put in to it.
What are you doing this year ? I would love to hear about your plans!

Chasing pavements
I'm absolutely in love with this maxi dress. I never thought I would wear such a... stripy outfit, but after trying this one on I understood the coolness of such a graphical print. I don't know.. there's something to it isn't it ? This is one of those rare cases when I thought a piece of clothing would be too much while it ended up being just right.
I know it can be scary to go all the way with bold prints for us commoners (read everyone except Leandra Medine ), but don't worry! With the right dress you'll be both chic and fabulous instead of feeling like you originate from zebras. Just keep the rest of the outfit simple and the dress will work magic on its own. Vertical lines make you look longer and a maxi-dress can have the same effect. Let's be honest: We wouldn't mind pretending to be a couple of extra centimetres long now would we ?

Jewelry cravings: Bjørg / Maria Black
Summer is soon to be over and school's about to start and I find myself craving for some new jewelry pieces. I've got a sudden need to update my collection though it might not be the smartest investment for a student who has yet to find somewhere to live for the fast approaching school year. I've got a huge crush on the two jewelry brands Bjørg and Maria Black. Their well balanced mix of cool, classy and edgy is mere perfection and the result is some pieces almost worth robbing a bank for. You can click on any item in my wishlist and it will take you directly to the webshop. Happy shopping!

New blog design!
Good morning everyone! These last couple of days I've been working on a new design for my blog. I'm really satisfied with the result! There's still a couple of things left to be fixed but I'm working on it. It takes some time to work with HTML and I always get new fancy ideas which makes it a bit intricate to make everything work together.. I think I've been spending 8-10 hours to set up the header and arrange the menus only. Hahah, that's how it is when you're a perfectionist!
I would love to hear what you think about the new design. Feel free to leave your thoughts and good ideas in the comment field below.

Weekend trip to Milan
As I've finally got a weekend off
Anyways, we had a great time ! We visited a couple of tourist attractions, went shopping and spent a lot of time drinking coffee and eating gelato. We were there in the middle of Design Week and got to participate on a couple of PR parties and went to the Design Week Festival. It was so much fun! Sadly I don't have any photos from it because my phone crashed and I lost everything. Well, that's life... (but I still have an outfit post for you guys!!). I'm really looking forward to going back to this beautiful city.

Pre-summer PVC
Sweatshirt - Bik Bok / Skirt - Only / Bag - Esprit / Shoes - Jeffrey Campbell / Ring - Bjørg
These photos were taken in Lyon before my vacation started (and before the heatwave hit). The look is not too "summerish", but considering the temperatures we are having in Norway at the moment I figured the outfit is still relevant. I love an all-black outfit, but you have to be careful about what pieces you put together in order to keep it interesting. Try to play with different fabrics, cuts and silhouettes and add some color to your nails or make-up. It's all about the contrasts.

At the end of the road
We did it! We passed our exams Wednesday, and three years of high school in France is now at an end. I can't believe how fast the time has passed by. It's been really hard at times, but I am so greatful for this amazing opportunity I've got and sooo proud of the other girls who stood out the race with me. Here we are (me, Mays, Anna and Henriette) with our dear "responsables" for what was our last dinner as terminales ever. It's a long tradition that the terminale-dinner is held at Paul Bocuses main restaurant in Lyon. The food was amazing. Feeling so privileged to be offered such a great dinner with the girls.
It's going to be sad to leave Lyon and all the good friends I've got there, but I'm really excited about what's up for me next!
